| DAY 1: Jerusalem/AmmanPrivate transfer from your hotel in Jerusalem to the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge. VIP meeting and transfer by private car over the wooden bridge to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Meet your Private Guide and driver; travel north to Jerash, one of the world’s best preserved Greco-Roman cities, with it colonnaded Cardo, Theatre, Temple of Zeus, Arch of Hadrian, Artemis Temple complex and Nymphaeum. See Jerash’s churches and mosaics. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a unique restaurant in Jerash before continuing to your hotel in Amman. (B.L) |
| DAY 2: Amman/Dead Sea Depart your hotel driving through the neighborhoods of Amman. On to Madaba “City of Mosaics.” Visit the contemporary church of St. George, housing the oldest surviving mosaic map of the Holyland. Continue to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land, and where he is presumed buried. Lunch at an historical restaurant in the area before continuing on to the Kempinski Hotel at the Dead Sea. Upon arrival, time for a relaxing optional Spa treatment at this spectacular hotel. (B.L) |
| DAY 3: Dead Sea/PetraSpend this morning luxuriating in the buoyant waters of the Dead Sea rich with salt and minerals. Savor the sensation of floating and soak up these healing waters. A complimentary entrance to the spa at your hotel has been arranged just for you. Revive, rejuvenate and re-energize! Depart for Petra; check in at the unique Taybet Zaman Hotel. | DAY 4: PetraToday, discover the “hidden” city of Petra. Travel by horse or private carriage through this former Nabatean city. You’ll see hundreds of carved funerary tombs, shrines, palaces, temples and even a theater, chiseled out of solid rock of richly colored hues ranging from deep pink to orange to periwinkle and lavender. Then, as you journey through the “Siq,” arrive at the spectacular Treasury, made famous in the movie “Indiana Jones”. Lunch at the Movenpick Hotel located at the foot of Petra, or, if you wish, within Petra. In the afternoon, visit to “Little Petra” to enjoy tea with the local people. Or, try the delightful Turkish Bath at your hotel. In the evening, another unique experience – Private Dinner at the “Petra Kitchen” plus Jordanian cooking lessons! Overnight in Petra. (B.L.D) |
| DAY 5: Petra/Wadi Rum/EilatDepart Petra to Wadi Rum, known as “Lawrence of Arabia” Land; here, board a private 4 x 4 Jeep. Understand the lure of the magnificent desert with its vibrantly colored, moon-like rock formations; and be fascinated by the sheer vastness of the surrounding dunes. Enjoy a Private Lunch with Bedouin hospitality, before continuing to the Arava Border between Jordan and Israel; meeting by your host on the Israeli side, and transfer to your beautiful hotel on the Red Sea. | DAY 6: Eilat Today, we offer you choices! Discover the surrounding areas of Eilat and the desert with a visit to Solomon’s Pillars, or, relax, soak up the sun, swim in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea. Snorkeling and Scuba is also available (your Guide will assist you with all of the arrangements.) Tonight, be part of the bustling nightlife and restaurants on the seaside promenade. | DAY 7: Eilat/Tel AvivDay at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Ben Gurion Airport. Private transfer to the International Terminal; meeting and assistance with check in and passport formalities. Continue to the VIP lounge to await your flight departure. (B) |
